Telugu-Kannadiga contemporary artist Srinivas Reddy.N hails from a hamlet near Chikkaballapur which was under old Mysore rule. During his childhood days as a young artist his mind captured the age-old paintings of antiques and architectural sights unique to their culture of Kannada around his village homes. He is inspired by the episodes of the 'Freedom Movement', as he grew up listening to the stories from Grandparents of the struggles and over the tyranny of British era, a fateful episode in his village due to which is known as Mini Jallianwalla Bagh. This background resonates throughout his artworks-visually with a modern approach imbibing timeless principles taught by Mahatma Gandhi "Truth". Recent work blends classical Mysore style depicting the teachings of Gandhi "Three Monkeys" hear no evil, say no evil and see no evil. The painting in Mysore traditional style portrays pedestal importance and by idolizing the principles as deities, which strongly subscribe to the ideology that the truth itself as God.
